CEO Hong Young-il of K&D received a commendation from the chairman of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation for his contribution to the development of the Gumi Industrial Complex

  On February 19, 2024, the 17th regular general meeting of the Gumi Industrial Complex Management Council and the inauguration ceremony of the chairman were held at the Geumosan Hotel. With more than 100 members, economic organizations, and related institutions in attendance, K&D CEO Hong Young-il received a commendation from Sanghoon Lee, Chairman of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, in recognition of his contributions to the development of the Gumi Industrial Complex. This award once again acknowledged CEO Hong Young-il's dedication, who has significantly contributed to revitalizing the local economy and strengthening industrial competitiveness.

  At the same event, the resignation ceremony for the 9th Chairman, Yang Jae-ho, and the inauguration ceremony for the 10th Chairman, Choi Byung-gil, were held. Additionally, meaningful events such as awarding a commendation to the Mayor of Gumi and delivering scholarships to the Gumi City Scholarship Foundation took place. This regular general meeting has become an important venue for win-win exchanges and capacity building among companies in the Gumi Industrial Complex, and various activities are expected to further contribute to the economic development of the Gumi region in the future.
